A beautiful love story between a biologist and an ethnologist.

The beginnings

It was while searching for a signature drink for their former Montreal restaurant, MAISON OFLORE, that Oumou Keita, a biologist, and Hugo Ferran, an ethnologist, developed the OFLORE Lemonades.

MAISON OFLORE

Montreal’s first artisanal lemonade shop, from 2019 to 2025.

Artisanal production

Produced artisanally in glass jars, OFLORE Lemonades are first bottled and sold on site.

First explorations

From 2019 to 2021, Oumou and Hugo experimented with all kinds of floral infusions, much to the delight of their customers.

A product line is born

In 2022, a product line of 6 flavours is launched: Lemon, Hibiscus, Lavender, Rose, Verbena, and Elderberry.

Market launch

Faced with the growing success of Limonades OFLORE, Oumou and Hugo launched the commercialization of their three signature flavors (Lemon, Hibiscus, Lavender) in May 2024.

2 formats, 55 stores

In just a few months, they reach their maximum production capacity and are sold in 55 stores in two glass‑bottle formats: 355 ml and 750 ml.

Laboratory research

After a year of research and development, they succeed in developing an improved formula for Limonades OFLORE: 0 sugar, 0 calories, 0 caffeine.

The beginning of a new adventure.

In 2025, they closed MAISON OFLORE to devote themselves fully to selling OFLORE Lemonades.

Large-scale production

In 2026, they form a partnership with a family‑owned company to brew OFLORE lemonades on a large scale in Quebec.

Respect for artisanal techniques

The production process continues to respect the artisanal techniques developed by the founders.
